Prince Albert of Monaco shows interest in Solar Thermal technology
On Thursday 21 January, Albert II, Sovereign Prince of Monaco, accompanied by a delegation of political representatives, visited the joint stand of the companies SENER and Torresol Energy at the World Future Energy Summit (WFES), the renewable power trade.
Alberto of Monaco has shown interest in the three solar projects being promoted by Torresol Energy – Gemasolar, Valle 1 and Valle 2 – using technology developed by SENER. The Chief Infraestructures Officer of Torresol Energy, Santiago Arias, was in charge of answering the Prince’s questions regarding electricity generation at concentrated solar power plants.
