Sierra Club Calls on Solar Thermal Magazine Readers to Join Protests

Dear Solar Thermal Magazine Readers.

Thousands of people from across the country will join together on Sunday, November 6th at the White House for the largest protest ever staged against the tar sands.

Together we will circle the White House and stand with one voice demanding that President Obama reject the Keystone XL oil pipeline proposal.

This is our stand against Transcanada, a Canadian-owned oil company that seeks to seize property from private landowners to build an oil pipeline through America’s heartland.

The proposed oil pipeline is a nightmare. This foreign oil company must be stopped before it destroys our water, our atmosphere and our citizen’s rights as property-owners.

Can you join us on Sunday, November 6th in Washington D.C. to put an end to the disastrous Canadian tar sands oil pipeline proposal?

Yes, I’ll be there.

No, I can’t make it, but tell me how I can get involved without attending in person.

Our goal is to recruit 5,000 people to circle the White House in a peaceful, legal demonstration of our opposition to this atrocious plan. Join us.
