Noribachi Patents Hybrid Solar-Grid Power Management System
Noribachi, an LED and solar smart energy products company, Â has announced the issue of U.S. Patent 8,138,630 for a proprietary hybrid solar-grid power management system.
Noribachi has developed and now patented a complex control system designed to regulate power supply between photovoltaic batteries, traditional grid energy and end use electronic applications.
This system can be used with an almost unlimited range of applications and is a revolutionary way to reduce energy consumption and mitigate the high upfront costs of new technologies. The capability to generate and store power with photovoltaic cells dramatically cuts traditional energy source usage, yet most solar systems rely on increasing the surface area of expensive solar material to account for periods of limited functionality, such as cloudy days. Noribachi hybrid lighting solutions power LED light sources using solar energy stored in batteries. Daylight charging normally provides enough power to run the light throughout the night. During periods of inclement weather, where solar power is less effective, the light will continue to function with grid power. Further system controls allow the adjustments of lights levels throughout the night, providing increasingly less light after midnight, when high levels of illumination are unnecessary, and further reducing energy consumption.
