Munro Distributing Expands Their Solar Micro Inverter Line
Munro Distributing, a premier distributor of renewable energy solutions, announced they will begin offering Enecsys micro inverters. Using innovative and patented technology, Enecsys micro inverters are designed for high reliability and to match the 25-year service life of solar modules. Munro Distributing offers a full array of electrical and solar components, including select modules, inverters and racking systems.
“Munro has many years of experience distributing electrical products to the U.S. North Eastern markets and that, combined with their focus on solar PV residential systems, makes them a good fit for us. We look forward to working with Munro and growing our business in the markets they serve.â€
A solar photovoltaic micro inverter converts direct current (DC) from a single solar module, or pair of modules in the case of the Enecsys Duo micro inverter, into alternating current (AC), unlike central inverters that convert power generated by the entire array of solar modules. The Enecsys solar micro inverter system has a number of distinct advantages for installers and maintenance staff. Installation is quicker, easier and safer, while maintenance is minimized and simplified.
“By incorporating Enecsys micro inverters into our select portfolio of product offerings, we are providing PV stakeholders with greater design flexibility and a cost-effective way to mitigate the adverse effect that shading from nearby structures and trees has on a PV system’s performance,†said Glenn Maltais, VP of Market Development and Sustainability at Munro. “Along with features like sophisticated monitoring capabilities, superior reliability and optimal energy harvesting, Enecsys micro inverters also increase safety by eliminating the need for installers to handle high voltage DC cabling.â€
“Enecsys, a premier supplier of smart, highly reliable solar micro inverter and monitoring system solutions, partners with distributors that provide deep industry experience and localized knowledge in our targeted markets,” said Ajay Malhotra, Vice President of Marketing and Product Management at Enecsys. “Munro has many years of experience distributing electrical products to the U.S. North Eastern markets and that, combined with their focus on solar PV residential systems, makes them a good fit for us. We look forward to working with Munro and growing our business in the markets they serve.”
In order to achieve a high level of reliability, the Enecsys micro inverter embodies three key attributes: a patented rugged topology, the ability to operate in real world conditions from -40 degrees C to +85 degrees C while maintaining a peak efficiency of 94.5 percent over the temperature range, and a unique and patented energy storage technique that enables the use of long-life thin film capacitors instead of less reliable electrolytic capacitors.
In addition to their renewable energy division, Munro Distributing also carries electrical supplies, energy efficient lighting and controls, motors, variable frequency drives, and fire alarm systems. The new micro inverters are available now and are ready for shipping.design flexibility, distinct advantages, eastern markets, electrical products, electrolytic capacitors, maintenance staff, maltais, nearby structures, optimal energy, patented technology, product offerings, pv system, racking systems, renewable energy solutions, residential systems, solar components, solar module, solar modules, solar photovoltaic, solar pv, sustainability, voltage dc
